First Church of God

Pastor Jessica has been the Associate of Family Ministries at First Church of God for the past 6 1/2 years.  She became the director of Journey Kids Day Center when it opened in September 2020.  Pastor Jessica joins the class weekly to teach worship songs and lead in a Bible time!  She believes all children are gifts from God and she counts it a privilege to serve kids and teach them about God and how much He loves them and wants to be in relationship with them.

Ms. Amy is thrilled to be a part of the Journey Kids family. She has worked with children for over 25 years. In high school she was offered an opportunity to take a child care class and that is where her love for teaching was fostered. She has also worked with a verity of students ranging in ages 2 years to pre-school. Watching a child grow is a very special thing and she takes great pride in knowing how many children's lives she has been able to touch over the years. She is also a mother of two girls, Elizabeth and Margarett along with a granddaughter named Jolene.

I am currently a student at Radford University. My major is Psychology with a minor in special education. After college I hope to become a clinical therapist for children. I have always loved working with kids and enjoy helping them learn new things.
